• Account information: Your email address and password (stored as a secure hash).
• Usage data: Your answer history, performance analytics, study streaks, and spaced repetition data.
• Subscription information: Your subscription tier and billing status. Payment details are processed by Stripe and are not stored on our servers.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Platform, including generating AI questions and tracking your progress.
• To manage your subscription and process payments.
• To improve question quality and Platform performance using aggregated, anonymised data.
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Anonymous, aggregated question performance data may be used to improve question quality. We use third-party service providers (Stripe for payments, cloud infrastructure for hosting) who process data on our behalf under appropriate data protection agreements.

4. AI Processing & Third-Party Processors

When you use AI question generation or the Socratic tutor, your prompts, answers, and conversation content are processed by third-party large language model providers on our behalf to generate responses. These providers receive only the content necessary to answer your request and are bound by data protection agreements.

• Payment processing: Stripe handles billing; we do not store card details.
• Email delivery: account and newsletter emails are sent through a third-party email service provider.
• Analytics: Google Analytics and Google Search Console process anonymised usage and search-performance data.

5. Cross-Border Transfers & Retention

Your personal data may be processed by service providers located outside Singapore, including in the United States and the European Union. We take reasonable steps to ensure such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards. We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Platform and comply with legal obligations; answer history, tutor conversations, and performance analytics are deleted when you delete your account.

6. Data Security

Your account data, answer history, and performance analytics are stored securely and are only visible to you. We use industry-standard encryption and access controls to protect your data.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Questions and explanations are generated using large language models. While reviewed for quality, they may contain errors. Always verify critical information against authoritative sources.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your personal data and answer history will be permanently removed.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your authentication session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Platform.
